Hi, I’m Jess,
I’m a wife, mother and photographer. I went to college to become an art teacher, I soon found my self in the darkroom more than the classroom. Taking photos and developing them was a lot more exciting to me then learning how to teach. I graduated from Siena Heights University with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art Photography, May of 2005. After graduating I started working for a local Photo Studio, I worked there for 2 years until I had my daughter. I learned quite a bit from my hours in the studio and realized that working with children and families out doors and on location was were my heart was. I love to photograph, whether it’s a wedding or a fresh newborn I have yet to find a subject I do not like.
I love my family, my chickens, sushi and COFFEE. I shoot with a Canon 5d Mark II, in my bag is a flash, 50mm 1.4, 24-70mm 4f and the beast 70-200mm 2.8
